The Perfect Wedding Dress
Your wedding dress will no doubt be the most important dress you will ever wear. Why compromise on what you want to wear on your wedding day, I can design and make for you the dress you dream to wear.
It is advisable to plan your wedding dress at least a few months in advance of your wedding to allow plenty of time for fittings and ordering special fabrics and trims.
A Bespoke Design
Whatever the occasion a bespoke dress gives you the opportunity to wear what you really want to.
Your first meeting will be to discuss what you want, set a budget and make a decision on style and fabric. Don't worry if you are not sure what you want, that's what i'm here for. The most important thing is for you to be completely happy with your design at this early stage.
I will take your measurements and create a toile of your chosen design, which will be a perfect fit for you. You will need to return for a fitting before I proceed with the final garment. At this stage design changes can be made, and the fit will be perfected.
I will then make your finished garment, which will be hand made. The amount of time this takes will depend on the intricacy of work involved.
Fabric choice can sometimes be tricky. I have a good selection of fabrics, including silks, lace, embroidered fabric, and tulle which you can order directly from me. Or if you want I can also recommend shops to take a look at to find what you are looking for.
I don't have a minimum price for bespoke garments as they can vary so much. It's best to get in touch to discuss what you want and i'll be able to give you a good idea of the cost. I can then give you an exact price when I meet you and we finalise the design. I don't charge for consultations.
