My interest in vintage fashion began when I started studying design. I have an in depth knowledge of historical design and technical construction and and a particular knowledge of the early Victorian era through to the 1960's.
If you have a vintage garment, or a photograph of one that you love I can replicate it for you, as closely as you'd like it to be. Or if you have a vintage garment that doesn't fit perfectly, or the old fashioned styling is stopping you from wearing it, I can adjust it to fit you perfectly or alter the styling according to your taste.
If you have something you love and it's damaged with age I can repair or alter it around the damage, keeping its authentic style.
Don't worry if you think your garment is beyond repair, or if the alterations you need seem impossible. You might be surprised how much can be done.

This dress from around 1960 is in excellent condition. It is a very well constructed dress with glamorous shoulder detail (the photo's don't do it enough justice).
Fabric is floral brocade and apart from a few marks on the hem it looks good as new, obviously well looked after by it's previous owner.
The dress is about a size 8, waist - 25.5", bust - 33". The seams are quite wide so this dress could be made slightly bigger if needed.

This dress from the late sixties is allover lined lace, with bare lace sleeves. the lace and trim is in great condition. The dress has quite a wide train, and trim detail on high waited seam.

A 1930's chiffon print dress. The cut of this dress and bold print make it stunning dress for anybody wanting a more unusual wedding dress, or just a beautiful vintage dress for another occasion.
The dress is in great condition, especially considering it's age.
