Mandy and Craig got married on June 18th 2016 at Colliers Brook Farm in Bristol.
When Mandy first came to me a few months earlier to talk to me about me making her a dress, at first I wasn’t convinced about a royal blue and white dress, but once it got underway, I loved the idea’s Mandy had, and her dress was truly unique.
Mandy’s dress was made from royal blue corded lace and ivory silk organza, with a full underskirt and detachable train. Her 6 bridesmaids and 4 flower girls complimented her in blue and white dresses with red accents, and the men wore red accessories and waistcoats.
Mandy couldn’t have made a more exciting entrance than she did, she rode in on her horse Kenny, alongside her dad Chris who rode Pride. When she told me that her dress had to be practical enough to ride Kenny it just added to the fun I had working with Mandy to make her Unique Dress. Every fitting was a pleasure, and it was great to hear the plans coming together along the way.
She had an amazing country wedding, and was lucky to have great weather, and yes, that is the Wurzels in the photo! She had them play at her wedding, which I hear was amazing, coincidentally on the anniversary of I’ve Got a Brand New Combine Harvester.
