So there's been a lot of looks in the past few weeks, from the classic, to the avant garde, and sometimes to the slightly bizarre.
Bridal inspiration can come from anywhere, I've put together what I think are some of the best looks this year that could inspire brides, from the OSCARs, BAFTAs, BRITs and the Golden Globes.
So, in no particular order;
Eleanor Tomlinson wears Ralph & Russo at the BAFTAs.
I just love absolutely everything about this dress. The bold contrast, the decoration on the skirt panel, and the elegant one shoulder detail.
Sandra oh wears Atelier Versace.
The simplicity of this dress is stunning, the aysymetry of the bodice and shoulders is perfectly draped.
Lady Gaga wears Alexander Mcqueen at the OSCARs.
What can I say, I just love her, she's quirky and elegant, and classy, a perfect balance in my eyes.
If you don't love her after her emotional acceptance speech....
Jameela Jamil wears Monique Lhuillier at the Golden Globes.
What would you call this colour? bright coral? Whatever it is, it's stunning. The cut of the skirt is just gorgeous.
Michelle Yeoh is wearing Elie Saab at the OSCARs.
The neckline on this gown is so elegant. The royal brides have definitely encouraged the trend of off the shoulder, and this certainly proves it's so glamorous.
Michelle Yeoh wearing Elie Saab again, this time at the BAFTAs.
If you find a designer that you like... She looks stunning in off the shoulder again.
The subtle colour of this gown is also beautiful.
Isla Fisher wears Monique Lhuillier.
Such a classic look, paired with natural hair and beautiful jewellery, this simple silhouette and fabric choice and colour looks effortless.
Jess Glynne wears Vivienne Westwood at the BRITs.
There's something so simple about the cut of this dress, but it's that simplicity that makes it so special.
Olivia Coleman wears Emilia Wickstead at the BAFTAs.
This dress is so understated, but it's bold use of monochrome colour blocking, and elegant silhouette is just perfect for Olivia. I love it.
Danai Gurira wearing Brock Collection
I love a bit of metallic, and what I love about this dress is that the fabric does all the talking, so the detail has been kept to a minimum. I love the black contrast against the gold.
Charlize Theron wears Dior Haute Couture at the golden globes.
Monochrome colour blocking again, done with simplicity.
Charlize Theron wearing Dior again a few weeks later at the OSCARs, and with a completely different look!
The colour, silhouette, everything about this dress is gorgeous, the fit is just perfect.
For so long the red carpet has been all about showing flesh and this dress just proves, you can still look stunning and cover up. (To be fair though, she'd look good in a bin bag!)
Winnie Harlow wears Elie Saab at the BRITs.
If you've ever met me, you'll know I love floral prints, and I'm rarely seen not wearing one, so how could I not include this dress.
I love the idea of a floral print for a wedding dress. And I love the leather belt with it!
Vick Hope wears Zeynep Kartal at the BRITs.
The cut and fit of this dress is perfect. It shows flesh but is still classy. The colour is gorgeous too.
I could see this cut working in any colour, and I love the tonal contrast poking through from the lining. Imagine it in pastel shades.
Regina King wears Oscar de la Renta.
Less is more, it's all about the drape. When a dress is draped this beautifully, it doesn't need any more detail.
Catherine Zeta-Jones wearing Elie Saab Haute Couture.
Coloured wedding dresses are definitely growing in popularity, but even if you don't want to go for bold colour, this dress would still look stunning in white or a pastel shade.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wears Alexander Mcqueen.
You don't even need to do much visualising here. Another case of less is more.
Emily Blunt wears Alexander McQueen at the Golden Globes.
I love to crochet, and would love to create a dress like this! Any takers?
Rami Malek wearing custom Saint Laurent.
Ok, so this isn't really wedding dress inspiration, but I just wanted to include Rami as he's so awesome!
If you feel inspired, and you're getting married later this year or in 2020 and beyond. Why not get in touch to talk about your ideas.
