A little bit of inspiration from the catwalk for your 2021 wedding dress.
With so much frustration around weddings at the moment, with the ongoing restrictions and postponements, I thought I'd share something positive.
I always like to browse through the bridal catwalk shows on Vogue.com but unfortunately this year the runway shows have been minimal. I'm sharing a few highlights from spring 2021 and have also added some great looks from last year that you may have missed.
Lets all stay optimistic for 2021.
So in no particular order:
Victor and Rolf. I love the clean lines and dramatic detail of this bow and cascade train.
Reem Acra. Beautiful lace placement and I love the subtle colour. (Nude without being naked).
Galvin. I love a bridal trouser suit, this very clean and feminine silhouette looks very modern.
Lela Rose. Off the shoulder, pearls, what's not to like.
Amsale. I love this crossover back detail, and the bright white colour.
Temperley London. Sequins, lace, subtle sparkle. I love everything about this dress!
Lela Rose. The bow detail on this bodice is gorgeous, I love the bead detail. Less is more.
Viktor and Rolf. Another fantastic clean elegant look.
Reem Acra. The drape of this skirt is pure Silver Screen glamour.
Carolina Herrera. Lovely bodice detail and graduated lace.
Monique Lhuillier. A bit OTT for most brides, but for those who want something a little more dramatic.
Lela Rose. Lovely cape detail, this could work with so many dresses, and could very easily be detachable.
Amsale. The bodice boning detail on this dress is lovely. I love this pretty embroidered organza too.
Monique Lhuillier. This drape is amazing, and so flattering.
Temperley London. The detail on the back of this dress is just stunning, perfectly tailored.
Monique Lhuillier. Beautiful lace, there's just something a bit different about this dress, I love it.
I started with Viktor and Rolf, and I will finish with one of their designs too. There are so many great bridal designers at the moment, but Viktor and Rolf are the ones who stand out to me. They have their own look, and I'm always excited to see what they come up with next.
So onwards and upwards, let's all stay positive for a much better year for weddings in 2021.
